Emirates marks 35 years in PH

Emirates is celebrating 35 years of operations in the Philippines by honoring the local tradition of pasalubong through the distribution of commemorative anniversary boxes as token of appreciation.

The airline launched its first Manila service in 1990 and has since transported millions of passengers between the country and its global network.

The anniversary boxes are inspired by the balikbayan tradition of overseas Filipinos bringing home gifts for loved ones.

Each box contains items intended to reflect the airline’s global identity and respect for Filipino culture, including locally produced Auro Chocolate made from cacao beans sourced directly from Filipino farmers.
