THE Bureau of Immigration (BI) has deported Chinese national Shi Chunfang, a crime ring leader wanted by authorities in China for kidnapping.
Shi was shipped out on a Xiamen Air flight bound for Jinjiang, China, where Chinese law enforcers were waiting for him.

The Chinese embassy in Manila formally thanked the BI for facilitating Shi’s arrest, noting that the deportation allowed Chinese authorities to promptly proceed with the criminal cases filed against him.
Shi was arrested by BI operatives on Dec.14 in a residential area in Taytay, Rizal, after verification that he is the subject of a warrant of arrest issued in 2024 by the Public Security Bureau of Jinjiang City.
