Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Jing Quan held a seminar with representatives from more than 30 Filipino-Chinese associations on Dec. 18, 2025.
Jing cited the important contributions of the Filipino-Chinese community in promoting the relationship between the Philippines and China.
He engaged in meaningful discussions with the representatives on topics such as advancing cultural and civil exchanges between the Philippines and China, promoting local Chinese education, conducting disaster relief and charity operations, ensuring the legal rights of the local Chinese community and maintaining the healthy and orderly development of the Filipino-Chinese community.
The representatives from the various Filipino Chinese associations expressed their determination to unite and strengthen themselves, leveraging their advantages to act as a bridge in stabilizing and improving the relationship between the Philippines and China.
