TPB Philippines wins two major honors at Asian tourism awards

The Tourism Promotions Board Philippines earned two top distinctions at the Travel Daily Media Travel Trade Excellence Awards Asia 2025, underscoring the country’s growing influence in regional tourism marketing.

The board was named Tourism Board Campaign of the Year for its 2024 MICE initiative, We Take Your Business to Heart, which positioned business events as deeply human and relationship-driven experiences.

TPB said the campaign was the result of years of groundwork in building skills and markets for Philippine tourism.

TPB also received Community Initiative of the Year for its Community-Based Tourism Marketing Enhancement Program, which connects local communities with media, key opinion leaders, and tourism markets based on specific needs. 

The program has been implemented in several regions, including Western Visayas, Bicol, CALABARZON, Northern Samar, Palawan, and Siargao.

“These honors affirm the heart of what we do,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles.

Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo Macaraig described the recognition as a proud moment for the country and its tourism sector.

“This recognition is a proud moment for the Philippines. It speaks to the creativity of our tourism professionals, the dedication of our partners, and the resilience of our communities. Most of all, it reflects how the Philippines continues to shine as a country of warmth, talent, and hospitality,” he said.

The Travel Daily Media awards recognize excellence across Asia’s tourism and travel sectors.
