The Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) Foundation has launched its Mobility with Care (Mobi-Care) program, donating four brand-new Toyota vehicles to the city governments of Santa Rosa and Batangas to improve public health service delivery.
Mobi-Care integrates automotive and non-automotive mobility solutions into community welfare initiatives, helping bring essential services to residents or enabling them to access basic services more efficiently.
As a pilot initiative under the program’s health pillar, the foundation donated the vehicles to Santa Rosa and Batangas to reinforce local healthcare delivery.
Under the initiative, the Santa Rosa City Health Offices I and II each received a Toyota Tamaraw Utility Van, while the Santa Rosa Community Hospital was provided with a Type 1 Toyota Tamaraw Ambulance.
“This donation exemplifies Toyota’s continuing commitment to support the City of Santa Rosa in further enhancing healthcare services for its constituents,” TMP Foundation president Jose Maria Aligada said during the turnover ceremony.
The foundation formalized the donation through a memorandum of agreement with the Santa Rosa city government outlining the vehicles’ intended use.
