Lexus Philippines held a groundbreaking ceremony on Dec. 16, 2025 for its new Lexus Quezon City Gallery, marking the brand’s first major dealer network expansion since the opening of its Manila Gallery.
The new facility, located along Sgt. Esguerra St., is designed to reflect the brand’s commitment to Japanese hospitality, or Omotenashi, and is scheduled to open its doors in 2027.
The expansion comes as the luxury automaker sees significant growth in the local market. Lexus Philippines chairman Alfred Ty noted during the ceremony that the company has grown from selling 172 units in 2009 to more than 2,000 units annually.
With more than 12,000 Lexus vehicles currently on Philippine roads, Ty said the market strength made it the right time to expand.
The strategic choice of Quezon City serves a practical purpose for the brand’s existing clientele. Ty said the location allows the company to serve customers with greater convenience, noting that more than 2,000 Lexus owners already reside in Quezon City alone.
Spanning 12,700 square meters across four floors and a mezzanine, the gallery will provide a comprehensive suite of aftersales services.
These include Lexus One, periodic maintenance, general services and body and paint operations. The building’s architecture will feature sharp surfaces and linear geometries intended to highlight both local artistry and Japanese craftsmanship.
Lexus entered the global market in 1989 and has since expanded to more than 90 countries. The brand, which introduced the luxury crossover category with the RX in 1998, has sold more than 1.9 million hybrid vehicles globally.
