PAL tops Asia Pacific punctuality ranking for November 2025

Philippine Airlines (PAL) WAS named the most punctual airline among Asia Pacific carriers for November 2025, securing an 84.67 percent on-time performance (OTP) rating, according to London-based aviation analytics company Cirium.

This marks the fourth consecutive month that the Philippine flag carrier has led its regional competitors in on-time performance.

PAL’s OTP ratings for the preceding months were 89.37 percent in August 2025, 90.47 percent in September 2025 and 86.37 percent in October 2025.

Cirium tracks a flight as being on-time if the aircraft arrives at the gate within 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival time, a standard reliability metric for travelers and airlines.

PAL senior vice president for the operations group Captain Roland Narciso attributed the success to the entire team’s dedication.

“The PAL team remains committed towards achieving operational reliability and customer satisfaction through on-time performance,” said Narciso.

He thanked the flight and ground operations teams, engineers and maintenance service partners for their collective efforts to provide a safe, reliable and pleasant travel experience.

PAL also previously achieved the top punctuality ranking in April 2025, second place in January 2025 and third place in March 2025.

Beyond punctuality, the airline holds an APEX Four Star major rating from the Airline Passenger Experience Association, a rating based on certified passenger feedback.

PAL operates scheduled nonstop flights using its fleet of Boeing, Airbus and De Havilland aircraft out of hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao.

The airline serves 31 destinations in the Philippines and 39 destinations across Asia, North America, Australia and the Middle East.
