Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) marked the start of retail sales for its first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) in the country, the all-new bZ4X, with the initial release of units made last December 11. Offered in a single variant, pricing for the bZ4X starts at P2,699,000 for the Dark Blue Mica/Attitude Black Mica colorway and reaches up to P2,719,000 for the Precious Metal/Attitude Black Mica and Emotional Red/Attitude Black Mica combinations. Each bZ4X purchase also comes with a wall box charger and a portable charger.

The all-wheel drive (AWD) electric SUV is powered by a dual-motored 73.11kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, producing a front output of 227PS, 269Nm of torque; a rear output of 120PS, 170Nm of torque; and an estimated maximum EV range of 570km. Some features of the bZ4X include 20-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic moonroof, power back door with a kick sensor, a 7-inch Digital Meter Cluster and Multi-Information Display, and a 14-inch Display Audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
The bZ4X is also equipped the latest Toyota Safety Sense suite, consisting of Pre-Collision System (PCS), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Adaptive High Beam System (AHS), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC). Drivers are further assisted by Blind Spot and Panoramic View Monitors, along with a Digital Inside Rearview Mirror.
