The elder sister was found beside a road with hack wounds, while the younger was discovered wrapped in a bedsheet with multiple stab wounds.
Police identified the suspect as “Mar,” the elder victim’s live-in partner, and are looking into a crime of passion as motive after he sent a message expressing regret. Acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. vowed to mobilize all resources and urged the public to report any information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
