Maynilad Water Services Inc. recently concluded the 2025 Oro Inodoro Awards in time for World Toilet Day, honoring the country’s best-designed, most efficiently managed, and most customer-friendly public restrooms.
The water company recognizes that the initiative regards sanitation, accessibility, and proper wastewater management are becoming a priority investment for both government and private institutions.
Valenzuela City Hall was named Grand Winner, while also clinching the Public Offices and Spaces category for its hotel-like facilities that reflect strong governance and high service standards.
Other category winners— – ncluding NOMO’s Kiddie Loo, Shell Vista Verde Molino, Philippine Women’s University, and Hanan Coffee Brewers – showcased how malls, transport hubs, schools, and cafés are raising the bar in restroom design and maintenance to enhance customer and commuter experience.
Formerly the Golden Kubeta Awards, the revamped Oro Inodoro Awards now serve as a national benchmark for sanitation excellence in public restrooms, reinforcing key public health standards and supporting global development goals on water and sanitation.
