PAL to launch Manila-Palau flights in March

Philippine Airlines (PAL) said Thursday it will launch a twice-weekly flight service connecting Manila and Palau (Koror) starting March 29, 2026, strengthening the flag carrier’s presence in the Pacific region.

The new Manila-Palau route aims to provide seamless air connectivity from major Asian and select Philippine cities to Palau through the airline’s Manila hub, making the tropical destination more accessible.

“Creating flights to this Pacific island will stimulate tourism travel among beach lovers and the diving community,” said PAL president Richard Nuttall.

“Travelers can expect world-class service on board their flights combined with Philippine Airlines’ renowned Filipino heartfelt care,” he said.

Koror is considered the gateway to Palau’s extraordinary marine attractions, which boast vibrant dive sites, crystal-clear lagoons and thriving coral reefs.

The route reinforces PAL’s commitment to expanding routes that deliver unique experiences and drive tourism growth.

The new service will be operated by PAL’s modern 199-seater dual-class Airbus A321ceo. Flights from Manila are scheduled every Wednesday and Sunday, departing at 10:15 p.m. and arriving in Palau (Koror) at 2 a.m. local time.

Return flights from Palau (Koror) to Manila operate on Mondays and Thursdays, taking off at 3:10 a.m. local time and landing in Manila at 4:55 a.m.

To mark the milestone, PAL is offering special introductory roundtrip base fares starting at $499 for economy class and $1,239 for business class until Dec. 18.

These special fares are valid for travel beginning March 29, 2026 and beyond.

The new route complements PAL’s existing Western Pacific service to Guam, further enhancing travel opportunities for leisure and business passengers across the region.

PAL operates scheduled nonstop flights out of hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to 31 destinations in the Philippines and 39 destinations in Asia, North America, Australia and the Middle East.
