Allianz PNB Life, one of the Philippines’ leading life insurers, has launched MaPanatag, a socially inclusive initiative supporting single mothers. With an estimated 15 million single parents, 95 percent women, Allianz aims to ease daily burdens and secure a brighter future.
“MaPanatag brings peace of mind to single moms balancing responsibilities while nurturing their families. Single moms carry the weight of the world MaPanatag shows they don’t have to face challenges alone. Allianz ensures their children are cared for,” Allianz PNB Life president and CEO Joe Gross.
The initiative was inspired by a conversation Gross had with a single mother within Allianz, who shared her worries about her child’s future, a story that resonated deeply, as he was also raised by a single mother.
MaPanatag was shaped by three Allianz single moms and stories from Mombassadors from both Allianz and PNB, ensuring it reflects real experiences. Allianz Mombassadors include Apple Isidro, Heidi Larosa, and Janella Reyes. From PNB are Rosemary Fernandez, Angel Galut, and Aira Carmelo – all sharing journeys of resilience, faith, and perseverance.
MaPanatag brings single moms peace of mind and practical support through three key pillars. First, eAZy Health offers renewable life and health protection, covering critical illness, accidental death, disability, and total permanent disability. With premiums starting at just P970 a month, moms can focus on their families without worrying about the unexpected.
Next, HerBox delivers a curated package of benefits designed for their everyday needs. Single moms receive a wellness allowance – P2,000 in the first year and P1,000 annually from Years 2 to 5 – along with discounts on clinics, pharmacies, wellness services, and essential mom-and-baby products.
Finally, MaPanatag opens the door to financial empowerment through the Opportunity to Earn. Moms can join Allianz’s distribution team, giving them the chance to generate additional income while balancing family responsibilities.
