Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) said Thursday it rolled out an expanded Calamity Assistance Program to support vehicle owners affected by a wider range of natural disasters, as the country continues to face increasingly frequent and severe calamities.
The initiative is open to all owners of Isuzu light commercial vehicles (LCV) and commercial vehicles (CV), regardless of model year, and offers customers whose vehicles were damaged a 30-percent discount on essential parts and repair services.
The program now covers damage from typhoons, floods, volcanic eruptions, ashfall, earthquakes and landslides, broadening the scope of IPC’s Typhoon Assistance Program introduced last year.
“We understand that natural calamities can disrupt not only mobility but also livelihoods,” said IPC president Mikio Tsukui.
“Through this expanded program, we aim to provide timely and practical support to our customers so they can restore their vehicles and resume their daily lives with confidence,” he said.
Coverage includes engine and transmission components, drivetrain parts, electrical items such as bulbs and cluster meters, electronic control modules (ECM/TCM) and collision-related body parts like panels and doors.
Items outside the program include non-essential accessories and electronics such as audio/DVD units, LCD monitors, keyless entry systems, back sensors, alarms and batteries.
Excluded services include towing, painting, detailing and washing, as well as accessory installations and sublet repairs like machining, calibration, radiator servicing and rewinding. Over-the-counter purchases are not eligible for the discount.
The Calamity Assistance Program is available at participating Isuzu dealerships nationwide until Dec. 31, 2025. Customers are advised to contact their nearest dealership to schedule an appointment.
