PRC services reach Pinoy professionals in Singapore

In line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to bring government services closer to Filipino workers including professionals abroad, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) through its Foreign Mobile Services (FMS) joined the Alagang Serbisyo Caravan 2025, held on November 15, 2025, at the Hilton Singapore Orchard.

Primarily organized by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) – Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Filipino workers in Singapore successfully accessed Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) services, including initial registration, license renewal, and certification issuance.

Also part of the event was an oath-taking ceremony for newly licensed professionals who passed the June 2025 Special Professional Licensure Examination. Mr. Juan G. Alilam, Jr., Officer-in-Charge of the PRC Region II, administered the oath to the successful board passers, who included nurses, teachers, pharmacists, and real estate agents, among others.

PRC had earlier conducted mobile services in Cambodia, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Thailand, Japan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, reaffirming the Commission’s commitment to extending its reach to the Filipino workforce worldwide.

Through the initiative, PRC ensures that Filipino professionals’ qualifications remain up to date, certifying their ability to work and enhancing their international career opportunities.
