The Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) elected Donald Lim, a prominent figure in digital transformation, as its 78th president for 2026.
Lim is currently the president of DITO CME Holdings, an investment company with interests in telecommunications media and technology.
He has been a driving force in shaping the Philippines’ digital economy by championing national initiatives on artificial intelligence blockchain cybersecurity and ethical digital governance. His advocacy focuses on innovation-driven competitiveness and inclusive growth.
Over the past two decades, Lim has held distinguished leadership roles across corporate management entrepreneurship national advocacy education and military service.
He is the founding president of the Blockchain Council of the Philippines, the Cybersecurity Council of the Philippines and the Global AI Council Philippines. These organizations bring together government industry and academe to promote responsible innovation and digital trust.
A respected educator and author, Lim has taught at leading universities and written several books including Cybersecurity Unmasked and Blockchain Unlocked. He also serves in the Philippine Air Force Reserve Command as a lieutenant colonel and group commander.
His contributions have earned him honors such as the TOYM Award for Community Building in Digital Media and the Agora Award for Marketing Communications.
Joining Lim on the MAP 2026 board of governors are vice president Marianne Hontiveros, managing director of CEO Advisors Inc.; treasurer Wilson Tan, chair of SGV & Company; assistant treasurer Paolo Borromeo, president and CEO of AC Health; and secretary Gil Genio, independent director of GT Capital Holdings.
The other members of the MAP 2026 board include vice chair of Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, former DILG Secretary Rafael Alunan III; chair of SKAL Makati International, former DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista; president and CEO of BPI Asset Management and Trust Corp. Maria Theresa Marcial; and director of government and public affairs of Metro Pacific Investments Corp. Michael Toledo.
