A year after roaring onto Philippine roads, the Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 celebrates a community of 1,000 proud owners across the country. The journey began at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) last October, where the performance truck was introduced with limited availability. However, intense demand from local enthusiasts prompted Ford Philippines to officially establish the Raptor V6 as a mainstay in its lineup by January. “The response to the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 in its first year has been incredible,” said Pedro Simoes, Managing Director and President of Ford Philippines, stating that the truck’s popularity is driven by its engineering credentials. Developed by Ford Performance, the beast boasts a 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering a staggering 397 PS and 583 Nm of torque. Beyond raw power, the Raptor ensures a superior ride with FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass Shock Absorbers and seven selectable drive modes, including the renowned Baja mode for high-speed off-road thrills.
