The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Clark Development Corp. (CDC) formalized a donation agreement to provide furniture to communities benefiting from CDC’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The agreement reinforces the partnership between the ADB and local government units (LGUs) within the Metro Clark Advisory Council.
ADB corporate services department director-general Lakshmi Menon and CDC president and chief executive Agnes Devanadera signed the agreement at the ADB headquarters in Mandaluyong City.
Menon said the donation reflects the ADB’s commitment to local development and recognized the CDC’s crucial role in facilitating public-private partnerships in Clark.
Devanadera cited CDC’s function as a conduit between global institutions and local communities. “CDC remains committed to bridging development partners like ADB with the grassroots sectors we serve,” she said.
The turnover of the donated furniture is scheduled to follow the signing, with distribution planned for local government offices in Clark and surrounding areas.
