GMA Network Inc. said Monday its net income climbed 47 percent in the first nine months of 2025 on the back of higher advertising revenue.
The broadcasting company reported a net profit of P2.06 billion from January to September, up from P1.4 billion in the same period last year. Consolidated revenues grew 12 percent to P13.98 billion in the first nine months from P12.50 billion a year earlier.
The company’s top-line advantage was led by advertising revenues, which grew by P12.07 billion or 10 percent in the past three quarters, GMA said. Advertising revenue continued to take the largest share, contributing more than 90 percent to the total revenue pie.
Television and radio broadcasting both saw upbeat sales during the earlier part of the year, boosted by an influx of political advocacies and advertisements ahead of the mid-term elections in May. Airtime advertising revenues still comprised the largest portion of the company’s total revenue.
Consumer sales also showed a strong performance, recording a 29-percent year-on-year growth to P1.2 billion from last year’s P942.24 million.
