Cash remittances from overseas Filipinos (OF) rose 3.2 percent to $26.03 billion in the first nine months of 2025 from $25.23 billion recorded in the same period in 2024, according to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
Preliminary data from the BSP showed that in September, cash remittances expanded 3.7 percent to $3.12 billion from $3.01 billion a year ago.

Personal remittances, which include cash sent through banks and informal channels as well as remittances in kind, increased 3.2 percent in the first nine months to $28.97 billion from $28.07 billion a year earlier.
September personal remittances also grew 3.8 percent to $3.46 billion from $3.34 billion a year ago.
The United States remained the top source of remittances to the Philippines from January to September, followed by Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
