Hollywood late actor Chadwick Boseman will be honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Nov. 20.
On Thursday, Nov. 13, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced that the “Black Panther” star is set to receive Hollywood Walk of Fame star, four years after he died in 2020 following a private, four-year battle with colon cancer.
Chadwick rose to global prominence after joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016 as T’Challa, making his debut in “Captain America: Civil War.” His portrayal of the Wakandan king lead him to star in the acclaimed 2018 film “Black Panther” and later appearing in “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame.”
Beyond Marvel, Boseman earned praise for his roles in films such as “21 Bridges,” “Da 5 Bloods,” and “Black Bottom,” the latter earning him posthumous awards recognition for his performance as Levee.
Chadwick was supposed to reprise his role in the “Black Panther” sequel before his passing.
