UBS continues its commitment to advancing women’s financial empowerment with the latest installment of its flagship Women and Finance Dialogue series. This next chapter, entitled “Investing in Longevity: Health Matters” explored how women can harness the power of health to sustain personal well-being and economic security. Held recently at the spacious corporate headquarters of Ayala Corporation in Makati, the event attracted over 70 participants.
As the global population ages, conversations are shifting from treating illness to fostering healthier, longer lives. Breakthroughs in regenerative medicine and artificial intelligence are transforming industries from healthcare to finance, creating new opportunities for women to lead longer and healthier lives.

UBS Women and Finance flagship conference attracted over 70 attendees for its November event.
“Health and wealth are deeply connected, and through our dialogue sessions, we aim to inspire more women to take greater control of their financial futures and lead with confidence. Our UBS Women and Finance Dialogue series continues to grow from strength to strength as we expand our engagement of women corporate leaders and entrepreneurs,” said Ms. Robby Go, Country Head of UBS Philippines.
Moderated by Ms. Mariana Zobel de Ayala, Head of Leasing & Hospitality, Ayala Land Inc, the forum featured insights from prominent public health advocate Dr. Beverly Lorraine Ho, Chief Health Officer of Ayala Healthcare Holdings; and mental health awareness advocate Mr. Yuri Marshall, Chief Executive Officer of Mind You Mental Health Systems. They talked about the importance of investing in one’s physical and mental health — a journey made possible through accessible healthcare, lifestyle choices, and strategic financial planning. The panel discussion resulted in a lively engagement among the audience aspiring to gain a better understanding on how corporates and women leaders can put more focus on gender-specific conditions in women. It also shed insights on the increasing importance of maintaining women’s health in today’s environment.
Since its launch in the Philippines in 2023, more than 150 women CEOs, corporate leaders and entrepreneurs have attended the UBS Women and Finance dialogue series. The panelists have covered a diverse range of topics, including financial independence and literacy, opportunities and challenges encountered by female entrepreneurs, and building cohesive and winning teams in the workplace. For its fifth installment, UBS takes the lead in bringing the longevity conversation to the table.
Earlier this year, UBS tackled the issue of transitioning businesses between generations, featuring two pairs of mothers and daughters: Ms. Myrna Yao and Ms. Liza Yao-Bate, of
