ALEXANDRA Eala will be at the 2025 MGM Macau Tennis Masters this December.
The world no. 50 Eala will be in an exhibition team tennis tournament that will see her playing alongside Grand Slam champions Li Na and Conchita Martínez.
The tournament is set from December 27 to 28 at the Macau Forum.
The 20-year-old Eala will team up with Na, Shang Juncheng, and Jack Draper.
Her coming tournament comes days after she represents the Philippines in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand set from December 9 to 20.
World-class competition is expected in the women’s division of tennis in the Thailand meet, where Eala will be seeing action for the Philippines against rival teams that are fielding the top 200 ranked netters in the world.
Eala is expected hold her ground against Thailand’s Mananchaya “Mai” Sawangkaew and Luksika “Ruangkhaw” Thararudee.
Then, there’s Indonesia’s own rising star Janice Tjen, who ousted Eala in the 2025 Sao Paolo Open quarterfinals and eventually came out as the tournament’s runner-up.
Tjen is the second highest-ranked player in the games next to Eala at no. 82. She will team up with Priska Madelyn Nugroho, Eala’s former junior doubles’ partner, now at no. 207.
