CIDG arrests female red leader in Pampanga

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested a suspected Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) leader known as “Ka Loris,” alleged secretary of the Komiteng Rehiyon Gitnang Luzon under the Josefina Corpuz Command.

Authorities captured her along McArthur Highway in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, through a joint operation by CIDG, the Philippine Army, and local police. She faces five warrants of arrest for murder, arson, and frustrated murder.

Police said she ranks among the most wanted persons in Zambales, Aurora, and Bulacan provinces.

“Ka Loris” and her accomplices allegedly burned a construction site in 2018 and ambushed government troops in 2022, killing two soldiers.

CIDG chief Maj. Gen. Robert Alexander Morico II lauded the successful operation, vowing continued efforts to hunt down wanted criminals and terrorists nationwide.
