BINI members Aiah Arceta and Colet Vergara took time off their schedules to help communities affected by Typhoon Tino in Cebu.
On November 9, the two joined volunteers on the ground to distribute food packs and essential supplies to families impacted by the storm. The relief activity was carried out with the support of local partners.
In her Instagram Stories, Aiah thanked everyone who assisted in the effort, expressing gratitude to “all the volunteers who helped her buy the food and supplies and for repacking everything within the day.”
The initiative is part of Aiah’s ongoing Aiahdvocacy project, which previously organized a donation drive for earthquake victims in Cebu just last month.
Volunteer Naomi Lee, who participated in the distribution, shared her appreciation online.
“What an absolute honor and a truly heartwarming experience to be a part of the #Aiahdvocacy of @Bini Aiah Arceta!” she wrote, adding that working alongside Colet and the Padayon Team was “a moment I’ll forever cherish.”
She also noted that the operation came together smoothly “despite the incredibly short time for preparation,” and thanked the two BINI members for showing up personally to “give back love” amid their busy schedules.
