Global retailer Uniqlo is turning up the color this holiday season with KAWS WINTER, a new knitwear collection from the brand’s newly appointed Artist in Residence, KAWS. Known for his signature XX motif and COMPANION character, KAWS brings a playful pop-art edge to Uniqlo’s renowned LifeWear essentials.
The collection, launching in Japan on Nov. 21, features vibrant holiday hues—red, green, and yellow—on cashmere and lambswool sweaters, as well as HEATTECH beanies, scarves, and gloves. A special kids’ line includes Souffle Yarn™ sweaters and matching accessories, designed for comfort and style.
“For my first collection as Uniqlo’s Artist in Residence, I’m pleased to expand our partnership into knitwear,” KAWS said. “I love the sweaters they make and wanted to make a collection of everyday basics to get you through the winter months.”
The collection includes cashmere crew neck sweaters in three colors priced at P6,990 and lambswool crew neck sweaters in four colors at P1,990. HEATTECH beanies, gloves, and scarves are available in four colors, priced from P990 to P1,490. The kids’ Souffle Yarn sweaters and accessories are offered in three colors, priced from P790 to P1,490. All items will be available at Uniqlo stores and online.
Since 2016, KAWS has collaborated extensively with Uniqlo, bringing his irreverent, witty art to LifeWear staples. As the brand’s first Artist in Residence, he will continue to blend fashion and art, working with museum partners and global flagship stores to make art more accessible.
