Cebu Pacific bolsters fleet with new A320neo ahead of holiday travel surge

Cebu Pacific said it took delivery of a brand-new Airbus A320neo on Saturday, the latest addition to its fleet as the holiday peak travel season approaches.

The narrowbody aircraft, which arrived in Manila from the Airbus facility in Toulouse, France, is the first A320neo and fourth aircraft delivered to the airline this year. It will be immediately deployed on regional routes to support both domestic and international operations.

The delivery follows three Airbus A330neo aircraft delivered earlier this year, further expanding the carrier’s capacity.

“This latest delivery helps ensure we have enough capacity to serve passengers looking to fly home or discover new destinations this holiday season,” said Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao.

“We’re committed to making travel more accessible and convenient, especially during this time of year when more Filipinos take to the skies,” said Lao.

Cebu Pacific said it expects to take delivery of three more aircraft in the coming months as part of its long-term fleet modernization program, supporting its commitment to safe, reliable and accessible air travel.
