According to McDonald’s Philippines marketing director Ashley Santillan-Delgado, the Honey Mustard McSpicy was created to give fans something familiar yet refreshingly new. And honestly, it delivers exactly that. It’s still the McSpicy I know and love—just with a little extra personality.
During the launch, McDonald’s brought the burger back with flair. Five loyal fans were honored in the first-ever McSpicy Hall of Flame, a playful tribute to the burger’s devoted following. From the “Day One Devotee” to the “Faithful McSpicy Seeker,” each fan earned a spot on McDonald’s digital wall of legends.
To add excitement, McDonald’s also hosted the McSpicy Challenge in Quezon City, a spicy showdown where fans raced to finish a McSpicy without taking a sip of water. The fastest eater, Christian Castillo, finished off his burger in just 45 seconds.
The Honey Mustard McSpicy is now available in all McDonald’s branches nationwide, whether you’re dining in, taking out, or ordering for delivery. It’s a limited-time treat, so I’d say grab it while it’s hot…literally.
