K-pop boy group EXO is set to reunite at the end of the year following the completion of all members’ mandatory military service.
On Monday, Oct. 27, Korean media outlet reported that only six of the group’s nine members—Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, and Lay—will participate in the upcoming activities.
Lay’s inclusion marks his first group appearance since pursuing solo projects in China, with his last participation being in the group’s 2021 special album “Don’t Fight the Feeling.”

Members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin are reportedly not taking part due to their ongoing dispute with SM Entertainment.
The group will hold a fan meeting titled “EXO’verse” on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14 at Inspire Arena in Incheon.
EXO is also preparing to release its eighth full-length studio album in the first quarter of 2026, following its 2023 release “Exist.”
