1Tahanan Party-list Rep. Nathaniel Oducado personally witnessed the devastation brought by Typhoon Ramil in Barangay Bolo, Roxas City, and across the province of Capiz.
As a proud Capizeño, Oducado expressed deep concern over the hardships faced by affected residents and took swift action to provide help.
Upon learning of the situation, Oducado immediately coordinated with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian to extend additional support to the victims. One of the urgent issues identified was the lack of clean water in Roxas City.

“To help address this, we sent a supply of water from Sapian, Capiz using my personal funds, to be distributed alongside DSWD’s relief goods,” said Oducado.
The lawmaker also extended heartfelt gratitude to DSWD Region VI for the prompt response, and to Mayor Ronnie Dadivas for his hands-on assistance in ensuring the smooth distribution of relief goods.
Oducado likewise commended Barangay Council of Barangay Bolo for their cooperation and dedication to helping their community.
“In times of calamity, the unity and compassion of the people of Capiz remain our greatest strength,” Oducado added.
