With a new endorsement deal and his first solo fan meet in the offing, actor and entrepreneur Dustin Yu said he remains focused on staying grounded as his career continues to grow.
Yu will headline Destiny: The Dustin Yu Experience on Dec. 4 at the New Frontier Theater, where he will showcase his singing and dancing performances alongside surprise guests. He described the event as a heartfelt way to thank those who have supported him since his stint in Pinoy Big Brother.
“This event is our way of thanking the people who have supported me and continue to follow my journey in this business,” Yu told Manila Standard Entertainment during the official announcement.
“I want to give back to my fans and supporters, especially those who stood by me inside the PBB house—those who voted for me and cheered for me. This event is for them. It’s my chance to express my gratitude, spend time with them, and show who I am as a performer. I’m just excited to finally see everyone and to share this experience together with the brand I’m representing. I’m really looking forward to all of us having a good time,” Yu said.
He added that the support from fans keeps him grounded, reminding him that everything he has achieved today would not have been possible without the people who guided and stood by him throughout his showbiz journey.
“There are so many blessings coming in, and I’m just really grateful. At the same time, I always remind myself to stay grounded because we can all feel the excitement and everything that comes with it. But I never forget where I came from,” he said.

Yu also introduced as Aromagicare’s first local celebrity ambassador. The brand, under WIDE International Co., was founded by April Ann Davis Martin and Pauline Mae Publico and is known for its flagship product, Aromagicare Aroma Gel, which comes in Classic, Strawberry, Barley, and Coffee variants.
“This partnership is meaningful because it aligns with my lifestyle,” Yu said. “I advocate wellness, work out regularly, and stay active. To endorse a product I can use myself is just amazing.”
Martin said Yu was a natural choice for the role, describing him as someone who represents balance and mindfulness. She noted that previous celebrity collaborators included Glaiza de Castro and Pokwang.
Yu, who gained attention for his roles in GMA’s Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune and Black Rider, and as a former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemate, said the recent developments in his career motivate him to work harder
“Because of these blessings, I see this as an opportunity to give my best and show how much I love this industry. I hope it continues,” he said.
Outside acting, Yu co-owns Eraya, a contemporary restaurant in San Juan. He is also part of two upcoming entries in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival: Love You So Bad, with Bianca de Vera and Will Ashley, and Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins.
