Eliana Atienza has expressed grief over the death of her younger sister, content creator Emman Atienza, who passed away last week at the age of 19.
In an Instagram post, Eliana shared photos of her and Emman growing up, expressing her grief and longing for her sister.
“I miss you, Emman, with everything that I am and will ever be. I see you in the sunlight between the tree canopy and in the endless stars I know must be there, hidden by city lights,” she wrote.
She went on to express her longing for the future they had imagined together.
“We were supposed to co-create a better world where our children could play together, and we could laugh knowing we fought and struggled to build this for them. I hope this message reaches you wherever you are. Call me soon, okay?” Eliana added.
Emman was the youngest child of television host and weather presenter Kim Atienza and his wife, Felicia.
The Atienza family confirmed her passing last week but did not disclose the cause of death.
