Skaters show off spooky moves at SM Megamall’s first Halloween Cup

SM Skating Megamall turned into a Halloween wonderland as SM Sports and Leisure Centers hosted its first Halloween Cup, attended by more than a hundred local skaters in a fun, family-friendly showdown on ice.

Over 100 homegrown talents of all ages took to the rink, dressed in imaginative costumes, and performed thrilling routines that combined skill, creativity, and just the right amount of spooky flair. Skaters glided and spun to their favorite tunes while mallgoers cheered them on, turning the competition into a lively community celebration.

Organized under ISI Asia, the event wasn’t just about costumes and chills—it also spotlighted SM Skating’s mission to develop young local talents and promote grassroots sports.

“Through this event, SM Sports & Leisure Centers continue to encourage sports development and nurture young talents in ice skating,” said Joseph V. Silva, senior assistant vice president of SM Sports and Leisure Centers. “We aim to provide families a place where they can bond, stay active, and enjoy activities like ice skating in the same place they shop, dine, and spend time together.”
