Over 6,000 runners are expected to take part in one of Metro Manila’s most iconic lifestyle runs as Run BGC 2025 makes its much-anticipated return on December 14 at Bonifacio Global City.
Organized by RUNRIO, the event marks a highly awaited comeback that rekindles the spirit of community, wellness, and purpose. Participants can choose from four race categories — 16K, 10K, 5K, and the crowd-favorite 1K Dog Run, where runners team up with their furry companions.
“This comeback isn’t just about running forward — it’s also about looking back,” said Andrew Neri, Managing Partner of RUNRIO Inc. “Run BGC helped define the running culture in the Philippines, and this year, we’re celebrating how far the community has come.”
Beyond the competition, Run BGC 2025 aims to celebrate connection, resilience, and renewal, as it takes on a meaningful cause. The event has pledged a ₱1.5 million donation to the Bayani Scholarship Program, which supports the education of deserving youth from nearby communities.
“We are thrilled to see Run BGC make its return,” said Enrique Luis B. Manuel Jr., President of Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation, Inc. (FBDFI). “Every step our runners take contributes to the dreams of our Bayani scholars.”
Registration for Run BGC 2025 opens next week, with organizers promising a fun, family-friendly event that blends fitness, advocacy, and the vibrant energy of Bonifacio Global City.
