According to the Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association, Inc. (MDPPA), a total of 171,155 motorcycle units were sold nationwide, representing a substantial 21.2 percent increase compared to the 141,202 units sold in September 2024. The momentum is evident in the year-to-date figures as well. Total sales from January to September 2025 have reached 1,398,315 units, a 12.8 percent growth over the 1,239,258 units sold during the same nine-month period last year. In terms of regional demand, Luzon continues to dominate the market, accounting for 56 percent of September’s total sales with 95,712 units. The Visayas and Mindanao regions each contributed 22 percent of the total, with 37,675 and 37,768 units sold, respectively, underscoring strong and consistent demand across all major geographical areas.
