Tesla opens its “Tesla Shop” official online store in the country with a platform that mirrors the direct-to-consumer model used for vehicle purchases. The Tesla Shop features an extensive selection of items, including vehicle accessories, charging accessories, apparel, and various lifestyle products – with delivery at no cost on all orders. For existing Tesla owners, the online shop integrates with the company’s ecosystem by allowing the use of earned Tesla credits for purchases via the Tesla App. These credits can be acquired through the “Refer and Earn” program. Under this scheme, a new buyer who uses a referral link receives a P13,000 discount on a new vehicle purchase, while the referring owner receives P6,500 in Tesla credits.
