The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on September 23, 2025, turned over nearly Php60 million in lotto shares to the local governments of Quezon City and Manila. The ceremonies underscored the agency’s continued commitment to deliver essential health services to the Filipino people through the LGUs social welfare and charitable programs.
At Quezon City Hall, PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles personally handed over checks amounting to a total of Php39,449,486.40 to Vice Mayor Gian Carlo Sotto, who accepted the funds on behalf of the city government. The allocation represents the charity fund share from lotto sales in the city.

On the same day, GM Robles proceeded to the City of Manila to turn over lotto shares amounting to Php20,342,063.01, received by Mayor Isko Moreno on behalf of the local government.

GM Robles said the turnover reflects the agency’s continuing commitment to strengthen its partnership with local governments. He emphasized that the fund is expected to significantly enhance the capacity of LGUs to deliver vital social services, broaden assistance programs, and more effectively address the needs of their constituents. He noted that the LGU lotto fund shares are intended to reach more Filipinos in need and ensure that PCSO revenues are maximized for public benefit.
The nearly Php60 million turnover demonstrates PCSO’s firm resolve to channel its revenues into impactful initiatives, reinforce partnerships with local governments, and provide sustained assistance to Filipinos in need.
