Volunteers, composed of department heads from Belle Corp. and Pacific Online Systems Corp., recently partnered with Greenmist Property Management Corp. property managers, gardeners and volunteers in a Tagaytay Highlands tree-planting activity.
The event reaffirmed the companies’ strong commitment to environmental preservation and community resilience.
The initiative is part of the One Tree at a Time program, a joint effort by Tagaytay Highlands stakeholders that aims to plant 1 million trees in the sprawling estate by 2044, as envisioned by its founder, Willy N. Ocier.
Since 1994, the Belle Group has planted around 500,000 trees in Tagaytay Highlands, Midlands and Greenlands. Tagaytay Highlands is home to communities such as The Grove at Plantation Hills, Belle’s eco-farming community that promotes a farm-to-table lifestyle.
