Businessman Chavit Singson has dismissed rumors romantically linking him to Kapuso actress Jillian Ward, calling the speculation nothing but gossip.
In a recent interview with reporters, the 83-year-old former governor laughed off the issue, saying, “Marites lang yun.”
He added that he often hears similar rumors involving other celebrities but chooses not to pay them any attention. “Marami ngang nalilink sa akin. Pero puro Marites yan,” he said.

When asked about another long-circulating rumor involving actress Yen Santos, Chavit declined to elaborate and simply quipped, “Next question.”
The politician later joked with the press, reminding them of his one interview rule: “You can ask any question except about women—takot ako diyan, eh.”
Chavit had previously denied claims that he fathered Yen’s younger brother, clarifying that the child was his godson. Yen herself addressed the issue on her vlog, saying, “He’s a good family friend… kaya lagi tayong nai-issue.”
Brushing off the gossip once again, Chavit said with a grin, “Okay lang—yung iba, Marites lang talaga.”
