Asia United Bank (AUB) has teamed up with Singlife Philippines to roll out a fully-digital insurance platform, giving users of AUB’s e-wallet apps, HelloMoney and Hello Pag-IBIG, access to microinsurance products.
The platform, called the Singlife Insurance Microsite, allows users to explore, purchase and manage life insurance policies directly through the apps, eliminating the need for paperwork or face-to-face transactions.
The new service supports AUB’s strategy to expand HelloMoney’s features and boost user engagement, providing a new revenue stream for the bank and helping it reach underserved market segments.
The initiative also aligns with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ financial inclusion agenda. HelloMoney is one of the country’s fastest-growing e-wallets, offering services such as bills payment, fund transfers, and Pag-IBIG contributions.
Through the Singlife Shop on the HelloMoney app, users can access Singlife’s flagship products. These include Cash for Income Loss (Accidents), which offers up to P1.8 million in case of disability or death due to accidents, and Cash for Medical Costs, which provides up to P1.3 million for hospitalization or diagnosis of 125 critical conditions.
More digital insurance products are expected to be rolled out under the partnership.
“Our mission has always been to empower Filipinos with innovative and accessible financial solutions,” said AUB president Manuel Gomez.
“By partnering with Singlife Philippines, we are expanding the value we deliver to customers, helping them not only spend, save, and pay conveniently, but also secure their future through affordable and easy-to-access protection,” said Gomez.
Singlife Philippines chief executive Lester Cruz said the partnership brings the company “closer to our mission of making insurance truly accessible to every Filipino.”
“By embedding our digital-first protection solutions into the HelloMoney app, we’re not just offering convenience but also empowering more people to take charge of their financial future with confidence, control, and ease,” Cruz said.
