Over 1,700 tourism jobs are available at the 4th Trabaho, Turismo, Asenso: Philippine Tourism Job Fair, happening at the SMX Convention Center Manila from Oct. 9 to 11, 2025.
Launched in 2022 under the Marcos administration, Trabaho, Turismo, Asenso is a joint initiative of the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in support of the push for inclusive recovery and sustainable employment opportunities for Filipinos.
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco visited the job fair on opening day, engaging with job seekers and employers and witnessing on-the-spot hiring that reflected strong demand for skilled workers in the sector.
“In 2024, over 6.75 million Filipinos, or nearly 14 percent of the workforce, were employed in tourism, showing how the industry continues to create opportunities and sustain livelihoods,” Frasco said. “Through the Trabaho, Turismo, Asenso Job Fair, we are opening doors for Filipinos to build meaningful careers in a growing industry that uplifts communities.”
Now in its fourth year, the job fair remains a national platform connecting job seekers with over 50 employers offering opportunities in tourism, hospitality, wellness, accommodation, food and beverage and travel industries.
Positions available include room attendants, guest service agents, baristas, chefs, dining staff, kitchen helpers, restaurant supervisors, customer care, sales, logistics, administrative roles, travel and tour staff, warehouse personnel, production helpers and vehicle operators.
The fair runs alongside the 16th Hotel and Foodservice Suppliers Show and Beauty + Health and Wellness Manila 2025, providing additional opportunities for career growth, training and networking within the industry.
