Century Pacific Food, Inc. (CNPF), a leading food and beverage manufacturer in the Philippines, was named a Most Honored Company in Extel’s 2025 Asia Executive Team (Ex-China and Japan) Survey, one of only 47 companies out of 998 nominees to earn the distinction.
The recognition was based on votes from 2,909 portfolio managers and analysts.
CNPF president and chief executive Teodoro Po and chief financial officer Chad Manapat were named among the top three executives in the consumer staples sector.
In a new country-specific category, the executives were also recognized as the Philippines’ Best CEO and Best CFO, respectively, across all sectors. The company’s board of directors was cited for its stewardship for the third year, underscoring its commitment to governance.
The accolades follow CNPF’s sustained growth, supported by a diverse portfolio that includes market leadership in marine and meat, and a strong presence in milk, coconut, pet food and plant-based alternatives. The company’s investor relations program, officer and team were also recognized as among the best in the Philippines.
Po said the recognition affirms the company’s long-term growth approach: “making affordable nutrition accessible to more families as we balance the needs of our stakeholders.”
Manapat expressed gratitude for investor support. “We will continue building trust as responsible stewards of capital by investing in opportunities that secure more sustainable, more inclusive growth and develop healthier products, all leading to long-term value creation for our stakeholders,” said Manapat.
Beyond financial performance, CNPF was also noted for its ESG program, which focuses on Protein Delivery, Planet Preservation and People Development. In 2024, the company supported nearly 30,000 livelihoods across its supply chain and expanded its renewable energy and biomass capacity in its General Santos facilities.
Since 2010, the company’s flagship Kain Po program has delivered over 80 million protein servings to underserved communities. CNPF also promotes a circular economy by supporting PCX Markets and HOPE in recovering 100 percent of its plastic packaging footprint through plastic credits.
CNPF also deepened partnerships with smallholder fisherfolk and coconut farmers to boost productivity and secure a more resilient long-term supply base.
“We remain steadfast in our mission to deliver affordable nutrition,” Po said.
“Through the right investments and innovations, we aim to continue growing sustainably and inclusively and create a positive impact on the communities we serve through our business,” said Po.
