Deloitte Philippines announced the appointment of Ramon Ramos as its new country leader, succeeding Eric Landicho.
Ramos, who was previously Deloitte Philippines’ technology and transformation leader, is expected to drive a “transformative and innovative approach” as the firm pivots its focus toward a broader advisory portfolio beyond its traditional audit and tax services, the consulting firm said in a statement.
“I am honored to serve as Deloitte Philippine’s country leader, and I am excited to lead the practice into our next chapter of growth,” Ramos said.
He plans to leverage the firm’s multidisciplinary model to deliver end-to-end services, helping clients remain agile in a transforming landscape.
Ramos has over 20 years of experience in the consulting business, managing large-scale technology projects and positioning Deloitte as a trusted advisor in digital strategy, enterprise modernization and artificial intelligence integration.
Deloitte Philippines said it would utilize its Advice, Implement and Operate (A-I-O) framework and extensive capabilities in new technologies, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, data analytics and artificial intelligence to deliver comprehensive solutions across sectors.
Landicho, who served as country leader for eight years, will remain with the firm to focus on building and strengthening client relationships and mentoring the next generation of leaders. During his tenure, the firm experienced significant growth and deepened its industry specialization.
“It was a fulfilling eight years as the country leader of Deloitte Philippines,” Landicho said.
“Chito brings a sharp strategic lens and deep expertise in advisory and transformation… I am confident that Chito and his leadership team will bring energy, vision and a passion for innovation and transformation,” he said.
Deloitte Southeast Asia chief executive Eugene Ho expressed confidence in the transition. “I am certain that Chito will harness his expertise and strategic acumen to succeed in his new role,” Ho said.
