Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH), one of the largest healthcare systems in the United States, announced the opening of its global business services (GBS) center in Bonifacio Global City, expanding its operations in the Philippines.

The expansion is part of the company’s long-term global strategy to enhance operational efficiency, scale its capabilities and ensure seamless cross-border collaboration among countries.

BSMH said the Manila hub will allow it to tap into the country’s highly skilled workforce and mature infrastructure to support global healthcare operations, noting that the Philippines is recognized as one of the leading hubs for shared services.

BSMH GBS-Manila Country head Sam Padilla said that by investing in Filipino talent and expertise, :we are building a strong foundation to support our worldwide operations, enhance efficiency and foster seamless collaboration across borders.”

“Today’s celebration highlights not only our expansion, but also our commitment to the Philippines as a vital partner in our global strategy,” Padilla said.

BSMH has been present in the Philippines through its Global Ministries arm since 2013, with its partnerships ranging from providing immediate disaster response during the wake of typhoon Yolanda to recently supporting the water/sanitation (WASH) initiative at St. Camillus Health Care Center.
