Kapamilya singer-songwriter Maki has issued a public apology to fans of K-pop girl group TWICE after being called out online for standing during the group’s recent concert at the Philippine Arena.
The “Dilaw” hitmaker took to X (formerly Twitter) to express regret on behalf of himself and his siblings, saying they never meant to block anyone’s view.
“Before this day ends, I just want to tell everyone behind us during the concert that I sincerely apologize also on behalf of my siblings,” he wrote.

Maki explained that they got “too excited” as longtime TWICE fans. “If I could go back and undo it, I would. The least thing that I want to happen is to take someone else’s moment during the concert just so we could enjoy,” he said.
He added that it was their first time attending a K-pop concert they truly followed and promised to be more mindful next time. “Best believe, next time around, it will not happen again. I promise,” he wrote.
Maki also urged fans to stop the online bashing, saying, “If we want people to learn from their mistakes, let’s stop calling them names… to be constructive is the best way.”
