Actress and entrepreneur Bea Alonzo is embracing what she calls a new chapter of creativity and freedom, one that extends beyond the screen and into design.

On Sept. 12, Bea and her co-founders Bea and Brina Secosana officially launched Aftergloss, the newest collection of their travel essentials brand BASH Manila, at Whitespace Manila.
The launch marks a turning point for BASH, which Alonzo described as a “shift from occasion-based travel gear to lifestyle-driven mobility.” The brand, known for its sleek and functional luggage, is now expanding its offerings beyond travel with its first-ever tote bag and backpack.
“Aftergloss represents resilience, momentum, and reinvention. We were inspired by the idea of mirages—light in the desert, pulling you forward. That spark is what we wanted to capture in this collection,” said Bea.

Drawing inspiration from cinematic desert landscapes, Aftergloss reimagines BASH’s signature Gateway luggage in a striking high-gloss finish, complete with color-matched interiors and exteriors. The collection was introduced alongside the launch of bash.com.ph, the brand’s new digital flagship that allows shoppers early access to the line ahead of its public rollout.
For the actress, the launch was more than just a business milestone—it was a personal moment of pride.
“It’s so refreshing for me to go to a mall to promote my own brand. When I see people using BASH at the airport or when someone tells me they bought one, kinikilig talaga ako,” Bea continued.
Celebrities and travelers alike have become loyal fans of the brand.
“It just makes me feel good seeing people choose BASH, it reminds me of how much work and heart we put into every piece,” Bea told Manila Standard.
The “Aftergloss Experience” pop-up, held from Sept. 18 to 21 at the SM Mall of Asia Main Atrium, gave the public a chance to experience the new line in person. Guests were invited to step into a multi-sensory space that captured the cinematic essence of the collection.

As the brand continues to grow, Bea said she feels both grounded and grateful.
“I feel free, and I feel very happy. We have big dreams for BASH, and every time it’s received well, it warms my heart,” Bea shared.
The Aftergloss collection is now available on bash.com.ph, and will roll out to Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop starting Sept. 22.
