Live national final rounds on October 11 & 12 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay
Toyota Motor Philippines’ premier sim racing event is set for a high-octane conclusion as the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing eSports GT Championship 2025 moves to its live national final rounds this October. Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially unveiled the top 40 competitors who successfully navigated the grueling qualifying stage and will now compete in the quarterfinals at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay on October 11 and 12.
The journey to the finals began with a massive pool of more than 250 participants from across the Philippines. Each racer attempted to clock their fastest lap time on the Suzuka East Short Course within the Gran Turismo 7 game, all while piloting the virtual Toyota Supra RZ’20. Only the 40 fastest drivers secured their tickets to the on-site competition.
The two-day live event promises intense action and a rapid-fire elimination format. The quarterfinals on October 11 will narrow the field down to the top 20, who will then advance to the semifinals on October 12. The final 10 sim racers will battle it out later that day in the national finals, where the ultimate champion and the official Philippine representatives for the TGR Asia eSports GT Championship will be decided.
“We congratulate the sim racers who made it to the quarterfinals and look forward to seeing them push their limits for better at the live event,” shared TMP Vice President for Marketing Services Elvin Luciano.
Fans attending the event will not only witness thrilling virtual races but can also engage with various activities, including sim racing rigs, game booths, and original GR merchandise. Adding to the motorsports ambiance will be car displays featuring the high-performance GR Yaris, GR Supra, and GR 86, alongside the Vios and Tamaraw one-make-race (OMR) cars.
The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines eSports GT Championship 2025 is sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and supported by major partners including Petron, GT Radial, and Seiko.
