The combined effects of the Southwest Monsoon, Tropical Cyclone Mirasol, and Super Typhoon Nando resulted in 3 deaths, 9 injuries, and 5 missing persons, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported on Tuesday.
The agency also reported that more than 35,000 families, or about 123,000 individuals, have been affected by the storm.

A total of 24 roads and eight bridges remain impassable, while operations at 34 seaports were still suspended due to rough seas.
Floodwaters have also left 22 areas submerged.
In its latest advisory, state weather bureau PAGASA said ‘Nando’ continues to weaken as it moves closer to exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
