Roads were temporarily closed Tuesday morning along Madre Ignacia St. at the corner of Quirino Avenue in Malate, Manila after a billboard collapsed on Monday due to strong winds attributed to the effects of southwest monsoon (habagat), which was enhanced by Super Typhoon ‘Nando.’

Workers are seen clearing the debris as of mid-morning after it got entangled with some power lines. No one was reported injured in the incident. Weather in Metro Manila remains affected by ‘habagat’ characterized by cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
