Singer-songwriter Maki released his debut album KOLORCOASTER on Friday, Sept. 19—a 10-track rollout that cements his color-driven pop era.
The project arrives with instant traction. “Abelyana” debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s New Music Friday Philippines, with Maki fronting the playlist cover. “INDIGO (with u)” also appeared on New Music Friday across Asia and on Pop Rising in Singapore and Malaysia, signaling early regional pull.
Maki, who has teased the album for two years, called it his most challenging yet most fulfilling work to date, crediting a tight-knit team behind the music and visuals. In pre-release posts, fellow artists—from BINI’s Maloi to Yeng Constantino and Sitti—sent congratulations.
Next up is KOLORCOASTER The Concert on Nov. 7 at Smart Araneta Coliseum. According to the label, Patron A, Patron B, Lower Box, and Upper Box are sold out. Remaining tiers include Mosh Pit (with soundcheck and poster) and General Admission, available via TicketNet.
