Salmon, a financial technology company, launches its new venture, Salmon Moto Loans, aimed at providing a fully digital and transparent way for Filipinos to finance motorcycle purchases. According to data from the Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association (MDPPA), motorcycle sales in the Philippines reached 910,000 units in the first half of 2025, a 10% increase year-on-year. Salmon’s new loan product is designed to capitalize on this growing demand by offering fast approval, with customers able to get on the road in as little as 24 hours. The entire process, from application to repayment, is managed through the company’s mobile app. To roll out the service, Salmon has partnered with Ciclo Suerte Corporation, which operates as Suerte Motoplaza. With over 90 branches nationwide, Suerte Motoplaza’s extensive dealer network is expected to help make the loan process easier and more efficient for a wider number of customers. The new Moto Loans join Salmon’s existing suite of digital financial services, which includes Product Loans, Personal Loans, and Credit Lines.
